Our Story

Team Work Afrika (TWA) is dedicated to educating and empowering orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda.

Our Journey

Founded in 2005, TWA has been working tirelessly to advocate for the rights of children and create sustainable programs for their development.

Team Work Afrika (TWA) is an NGO in Uganda established in 2008. We focus on providing opportunities for children, women, and youth affected by HIV/AIDS, poverty, malaria, and other crises. Our core programs include Education, Health/WASH, Life Skills Development, Agriculture/economic wellbeing , Climate change mitigation, nutrition and dietary discipline. TWA is registered under the NGOs Act of 1989 with NGO status number 9144 and Certificate number S.5914/9616.

Child Rights and Education

We fight poverty through education. We provide schools, materials, and support for parents and teachers, ensuring all children can learn.

Health and Nutrition

We tackle poor health and nutrition in communities. We train families on urban gardening and provide counseling, especially for mothers and children.

Women Empowerment

We empower women through training, workshops, & leadership development programs. We also fight gender discrimination & violence against women.

Agriculture, livestock and Income generation

We fight poverty at its roots by helping communities develop sustainable practices in agriculture and livestock raising. We provide training in new skills to help people generate income and improve their livelihoods.
