Team work Afrika

Team Work Afrika (TWA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to establishing and maintaining developmental programs, finding and providing opportunities for children, women and youth who are victims of HIV/AIDS, absolute poverty, and malaria, man-made and natural catastrophic conditions in Uganda. It was established in 2008 and registered in 2012, attained its NGO status number 9144, Certificate number S.5914/9616, under the NGOs Act of 1989 of the Republic of Uganda. It started with an aim of promoting children’s rights and mobilizing resources for their well-being among others, with core programs include, but not limited to; Education, Health/WASH, Life Skills Development, Agriculture/economic wellbeing , Climate change mitigation, nutrition and dietary discipline among others.

Objectives

Teamwork Africa (TWA) works to improve the lives of vulnerable populations, these are our Objectives :

Education: TWA aims to increase access to basic and vocational education for disadvantaged children, women, and youth.
Social Services: They create and manage programs to assist displaced people, the homeless, the sick, the disabled, and orphans.
Community Development: TWA sets up projects that promote cultural, educational, and economic development for all children, regardless of background.
Healthcare: They advocate for health programs and accessible health facilities to ensure the well-being of children.
Food Security: TWA works to improve household income, food security, and nutrition for children in both rural and urban areas.
Women and Youth Empowerment: They offer programs that empower women and youth socially and economically by supporting them in starting income-generating activities to achieve sustainability for themselves and their families.
Collaboration: TWA actively seeks partnerships with organizations that share their goals.
